The graduating class of 1984 was approxiamately 320 students.  Port Moody Senior Secondary now has more than 1800 students in attendance, and includes grades 9 through 12 !

Imagine our little school with all of those people !  Total attendance in 1984 including grades 11 and 12s was probably right around 600 students - 1/3 of what they have now !

  • Gone is the 'smoking' courtyard, which is now closed in and part cafeteria, part classrooms !
  • The gymnasium has been expanded !
  • The tennis courts were pads for portables for years, but have recently been recreated and reopened.
  • The field has been 'renovated', although it still appears as soggy as ever !
